The main suspect in the kidnapping of famous QB Dan Marino. Missed the potential game-winning field goal kick at the end of the Super Bowl XVII, causing the Dolphins to lose to the San Francisco 49ers.
Kyle Brotzman, Kicker Boise State:
Brotzman missed two late-game field goals in the November 26, 2010 game versus the Nevada Wolf Pack. The first one, a 26-yarder at the end of regulation, would have sealed a victory for the Broncos as time ran out. The second failed attempt would have put the Broncos ahead in overtime, and was a 29-yard try. Nevada went on to win the game 34-31, dealing Boise State its first defeat of the 2010 season.
Finkle: Soccer style kicker.
Brotzman: Push right, hook left style kicker.
Finkle: Graduated from Collier High, June 1976.
Brotzman: Graduated from Meridian High, June 2006.
Finkle: Stetson University honors graduate, class of 1980.
Brotzman: Boise State University, Business Management, class of 2011.
Finkle: Holds two NCAA Division One records for most points in a season and distance.
Brotzman: Brotzman currently leads all active collegiate players in total points scored and is also the school’s all-time scoring leader.

Finkle: First and only pro-athlete ever to come out of Collier County.
Brotzman: In punt formation and the team facing forth and nine deep in Boise State’s end of the field Brotzman completed a 29-yard pass to Kyle Efaw which led to the Bronco’s winning touchdown against TCU in the Broncos to a 17-10 win in the 2009 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
